Autentimise kasutamine proxy serveriga

Kui veebilehitseja on seadistatud kasutama proxy serverit, ei õnnestu campusnet.ee Internetiühenduse kasutamiseks vajalik autentimise protseduur. Üks võimalus selle probleemi lahendamiseks on lisada veebilehitseja proxy seadistustesse erandid autentimiseks vajalike serverite jaoks.
Lisaks tuleb valida üks (või rohkem) aadress, mis veebilehitseja avamisel käivitab vajadusel autentimisprotseduuri. Soovitatav oleks selleks valida veebilehitsejas seadistatud koduleht.

Proxy seadistuste erandite lahtrisse tuleks olemasolevale lisada Firefoxi puhul:

172.16.0.0/12, cp.campusnet.ee, valitud_autentimisaadress

Internet Exploreri puhul formaadis:

172.16.0.0/12; cp.campusnet.ee: valitud_autentimisaadress

Võrgu seadistamine (DHCP) - Linux Ubuntu (Karmic Koala 9.10)

1. Avage ülevalt vasakult menüüst  "System" > "Preferences" > "Network Connections"

   

2. „Network Connection“ aknas valige kaabliga ühendus (tavaliselt "auto eth0") ning vajutage nupule „Edit“.

   

3. Kontrollige, et avanevas aknas oleks linnukesega märgistatud järgmised valikud:

   • "Connect automatically"
   • "Available to all users"

Seejärel vajutage „IPv4 Settings“.

4. „IPv4 Settings“ aknas valige "Method:" rippmenüüst  „Automatic (DHCP)“

Võrgu seadistamine (DHCP) - Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)

1. Valige "System Preferences" oma töölaualt või nn "Õuna menüüst" (reeglina vasakul üleval)

   

2. "System Preferences" aknas valige "Network" või kirjutage „Network“ otsingulahtrisse ja valige sealt.
   

   

3. Avanevas aknas valige „Location“ rippmenüüst „Built-in Ethernet“

   

4. "TCP/IP" all peab „Configure IPv4“ ripmenüüs olema valitud „Using DHCP“.
   Kui ei ole, klikkige muutmiseks all vasakul lukuga ikooni peale ning seejärel valige "Using DHCP"

   

   NB! On võimalik, et Te ei saa muuta seadeid, kuna ühendus on aktiivne
   Sel juhul ühendage võrgukaabel arvutist lahti, tehke muudatused ning ühendage kaabel tagasi.

Võrgu seadistamine (DHCP) - Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

1. Valige "System Preferences" oma töölaualt

   

   või nn "Õuna menüüst" (reeglina vasakul üleval)

   

2. "System Preference" aknas valige "Network"

   

3. Valige vasakult "Ethernet", seejärel valige paremalt "Configure" rippmenüüst "Using DHCP" 
   ja vajutage all paremal nuppu "Apply"

   

   NB! On võimalik, et Te ei saa muuta seadeid, kuna ühendus on aktiivne.
   Sel juhul ühendage võrgukaabel arvutist lahti, tehke muudatused ja ühendage kaabel tagasi.

Võrgu seadistamine (DHCP) - Windows 7

1. Klikkige nn  „Start“ logole ekraani all vasakus nurgas ja valige sealt „Control Panel“.

   

2. „Control Panel“ aknas, sektsioonis „Network & Internet“ klikkige: „View Network Status & Tasks“.

   

3. Avaneb „Network & Sharing Center“, valige vasakult menüüst  „Change Adapter Settings“.

   

4. Klikkige hiire parema nupuga "Local Area Connection" peal ning valige avanevast rippmenüüst "Properties".

   NB! Kui Teil on mitu "Local Area Connection" valikut, siis võib olla vajalik läbida käesoleva
   juhendi punktid 4 - 7 iga "Local Area Connection" valiku kohta.

   

5. Avanevas „Local Area Connection Status“ aknas vajutage nuppu „Properties“.
   NB! Windows võib küsida tegevusele kinnitust - sel juhul valige „Yes“

   

6. „Local Area Connection Properties“ aknas valige „Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)“
   ja vajutage allpool nupule „Properties“.

   

7. Avanevas aknas valige „Obtain an IP address automatically“ ja
   „Obtain DNS server address automatically“ ning seejärel vajutage „Ok“.

   

   NB: Kui teil on UAC (User Access Control) sisse lülitatud, siis võib Windows küsida eelnevatele
   tegevustele Teiepoolset kinnitust - sel juhul vajutage jätkamiseks „Continue“.

    

Võrgu seadistamine (DHCP) - Windows Vista

1. Avage "Start" menüü ja valige sealt "Control Panel"

   

2. Avanenud aknas valige „Network and Internet“

   NB! Juhul, kui Teie arvuti Control Panel ei näe välja nagu alloleval pildil,
   siis valige esmalt vasakult ülevalt "Control Panel Home".

   

3. Avanevas aknas valige „Network and Sharing Center“

   

4. Peale „Network and Sharing Center“ klikkimist uueneb vasakpoolne menüü,
   valige sealt  „Manage Network Connections“

   

5. Klikkige parema hiire nupuga  "Local Area Connection" ühenduse peal ning valige avanevast menüüst „Properties“. Kui avaneb popup aken, mis küsib tegevusele kinnitust, siis valige yes/allow.

   NB! Kui eksisteerib mitu "Local Area Connection" ühendust, siis vajadusel
   peate läbi tegema käesoleva juhendi punktid 5 kuni 7 iga sellise ühenduse kohta.

   

6. „Local Area Connection Properties“ aknas valige „Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)“
   ja vajutage nupule „Properties“

   

7. Avanevas aknas peavad olema valitud
   „Obtain an IP address automatically“ ja „Obtain DNS server address automatically“.
   Seejärel vajutage „OK“.

   

   NB: Kui Teil on aktiveeritud UAC (User Access Control) , siis võib Windows
   küsida mitu korda autoriseerimist. Sel juhul tuleb jätkamiseks vajutada „Continue“.

    

Võrgu seadistamine (DHCP) - Windows XP

1. Avage "Start" menüü. Sealt valige "Control Panel"
   
2. Juhul kui teie arvuti Control Panel näeb välja selline nagu alloleval pildil, siis valige "Switch to Category view".
   Muul juhul siirduge järgmise punkti juurde.
   
3. Nüüd vajutage "Network Connections" ikoonil.
   
4. Vajutage parema hiire klahviga "Local Area connection" ikoonil
   ning valige avanenud menüüst "Properties".

   

5. Avanenud Local Area Connection Properties aknas tuleb valida Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) ning vajutada hiirega Properties nupule.
   

    

6. Avanenud aknas kontrolli, et kõik oleks nii nagu alumisel pildil. Peale seda sulge kõik aknad OK nupust!

[ English ] Authentication with Proxy server

If your browser is configured to use a proxy server the authentication procedure of campusnet.ee will fail. One way to solve this problem is to add exceptions to the web browser proxy settings for these servers that are needed for authentication.
In addition, one should select one (or more) address, which activates the authentication procedure when the web browser is launched. We advise to choose the same address that is set as homepage for the browser.

In case of Firefox add to the Proxy settings exception field:

172.16.0.0/12, cp.campusnet.ee, chosen_authentication_address

In case of Internet Explorer add to the Proxy settings exception field:

172.16.0.0/12; cp.campusnet.ee: chosen_authentication_address

2. Under „Network Connections“, you should have wired connection (usually called "auto eth0").

4. Under "TCP/IP", make sure that „Configure IPv4“ is set to „Using DHCP“.
   If not, then click on the "Lock icon" in the lower left corner and change it to "Using DHCP"

   

NB! You may not be able to change your configuration if your network cable is connected.
In that case, unplug the cable, make the changes and re-plug it.

1. Find "System Preferences" icon in your dock and click on it.

   

    

   OR:  Select  "System Preferences" from the "Apple menu"

3. On left there are multiple choices of network cards. Click on "Ethernet".
   From the "Configure:" dropdown menu, choose "Using DHCP", then click "Apply" *

   

   NB! You may not be able to change your configuration if your network cable is connected.
   In that case, unplug the cable, make the changes and re-plug it.

1. Open "Start" menu, choose "Control Panel"

   

2. Under the „Control Panel“ section "Network and Internet" choose „View Network Status and Tasks“.

   

3. In „Network and Sharing Center“ choose  „Change Adapter Settings“ from the left menu.

   

4. Now right-click on "Local Area Connection" and then click on "Properties" in the menu.

   NB! If you have multiple "Local Area Connection" items, you may need to apply
   steps 4 - 7 of this guide to each connection.

   If Windows asks for confirmation, choose "Yes".

   

6. Under „Local Area Connection Properties“
   select „Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)“ and click „Properties“.

   

7. Make sure that „Obtain an IP address automatically“ and
   „Obtain DNS server address automatically“ are both selected.

   Then click "OK“ and your connection is configured.

    

   

   NB! If you have active UAC (User Acces Control), then Windows might ask for your
   confirmation multiple times . In these cases, choose „Continue“.

1. Open "Start" menu, choose "Control Panel"

   

2. Now choose „Network and Internet“.

   NB! If your Control Panel does not look like  the screenshot below,
   click on "Control Panel Home" in the left menu.

   

3. Choose „Network & Sharing Center“

   

4. After clicking „Network and Sharing Center“, the menu on the left changes.
   Choose „Manage Network Connections“ from the left menu.

   

5. Now right-click on "Local Area connection" and then click on "Properties" in the menu.

   NB! If you have multiple "Local Area Connection" items, you may need to apply
   steps 5 - 7 of this guide to each connection.

   

6. Under „Local Area Connection Properties“
   select „Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)“ and click „Properties“.

   

7. Make sure that „Obtain an IP address automatically“ and
   „Obtain DNS server address automatically“ are both selected.

   Then click "OK“ and your connection is configured.

1. Open "Start" menu.

2. If your Control Panel looks like the following picture then click on "Switch to Category view". Otherwise move on to the next step
   
3. Next double-click "Network Connections".
   
4. Now right-click on "Local Area connection" and then click on "Properties" in the menu.

   

5. In Local Area Connection Properties window
   select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.
   

6. Set Obtain an IP address automatically
   and Obtain DNS server address automatically
   after that close all opened windows by clicking OK
