Internet service CampusNet

Haberst Infra AS provides in collaboration with Tartu Student Village (MTÜ Tartu Üliõpilasküla) and Estonian Educational  and Research Network (EENet) permanent Internet connection service for  eight halls of residence of The University of Tartu: Raatuse 22, Narva mnt 25, Narva mnt 27, Narva mnt 89, Tiigi 14, Pepleri 14, Purde 27, Nooruse 7. The aim is to guarantee students fast and reasonably charged Internet connection for their studies. The service provided is in accordance with the computer network rules of the University of Tartu.

Acquiring Internet connection

In order to have an internet connection one has to sign a Subscription Contract between Haberst Infra AS and the client of the Tartu Student Village. Contract forms are available at  the hall manager's office. Thereafter the connection is activated in three days.

Haberst Infra AS guarantees a connection up to the cable plug in subscriber's room. This does not include the Internet cable between the plug and Subscriber’s hardware. In Residence halls there is also wireless Internet connection available.

Prices

Monthly fee for the service is 118 kroons and subscription fee is 220 kroons.

Speed

In all halls of residence dowload speed is max 8 Mbit/s and upload is max 512 Kbit/s.

We offer also computer repairing/maintenance service for 250 kroons per hour.
