[ English ] Network configuration (DHCP) - Linux Ubuntu (Karmic Koala 9.10)

1. Go to "System" > "Preferences" > "Network Connections"

   

2. Under „Network Connections“, you should have wired connection (usually called "auto eth0").
   Select "auto eth0" and click on „Edit“

   

3. Make sure that the following checkboxes are checked:

• Connect automatically
• Available to all users

Next, click on the „IPv4 Settings“ tab.

4. Under „IPv4 Settings“, choose  „Automatic (DHCP)“ from the "Method:"
   dropdown menu, then click "Apply".
